Anirban Sanyal is a seasoned supply chain professional currently serving as Head of Supply Chain and National Logistics at Century Plyboards (India) Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of plywood, laminates, decorative veneers, and wood-panel products with a strong domestic and international presence. With nearly three decades of experience across supply chain strategy, logistics operations, and integrated planning, he has built a reputation for driving operational efficiency and strengthening distribution ecosystems within large consumer and manufacturing organizations.

At Century Plyboards, Sanyal is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain and national logistics operations, overseeing planning, warehousing, transportation networks, and supply chain integration across the company’s extensive manufacturing and distribution footprint. His role focuses on enhancing supply chain visibility, optimizing cost-to-serve models, and enabling faster responses to evolving market demand across the company’s product portfolio. He has also been involved in driving initiatives around S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), integrated business planning, and supply chain digitalization to support the company’s growth and operational resilience.

Prior to joining Century Plyboards, Sanyal held leadership roles in supply chain and operations with several globally recognized organizations, including Unilever, ITC Limited, Whirlpool Corporation, Spencer’s Retail, and Reckitt Benckiser. Through these roles, he gained extensive experience managing complex supply networks, building scalable logistics frameworks, and improving demand planning and inventory optimization across large consumer goods ecosystems.

Academically, Sanyal has pursued multiple advanced programs in leadership, business analytics, sustainability, and project management from premier institutions, including the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, XLRI – Xavier School of Management, and the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management. He also holds degrees in law and arts from the University of Calcutta and is recognized as a certified internal trainer and guest lecturer who actively contributes to academic and professional forums.
