Praveen Tandon is an accomplished business leader who served as Chief Executive Officer of Elin Electronics Limited, an India-based electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company engaged in the design and manufacturing of electric motors, consumer appliances, lighting products, and automotive components for domestic and global markets. Elin Electronics Limited, founded in 1969 and headquartered in New Delhi, operates as a major manufacturing partner for several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and original design manufacturers (ODMs) across consumer durables and electronics sectors.

Tandon assumed the role of CEO in April 2024, bringing with him more than two decades of leadership experience in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain management, and business operations within the consumer electronics and automotive industries. His leadership has been closely associated with strengthening operational efficiency, building strategic vendor ecosystems, and enhancing supply chain integration across complex manufacturing environments.

Before joining Elin Electronics, he served as vice president – business development at Dixon Technologies (India) Limited, one of India’s leading electronics manufacturing services companies, where he contributed to expanding business opportunities and strengthening partnerships with global electronics brands. Earlier, he was Head of Supply Chain at IFB Industries Limited, overseeing procurement, logistics, and integrated supply chain operations for the company’s consumer durable product lines.

A significant portion of Tandon’s career was spent with LG Electronics, where he held multiple senior roles across procurement, manufacturing operations, and product management, including general manager and head of procurement. During his tenure, he managed supply chains and product operations for major appliance categories such as washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners, gaining deep expertise in global sourcing, cost optimization, and manufacturing excellence.

Academically, Tandon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is also certified in production and inventory management and supply chain management through APICS and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt, reflecting his strong grounding in operational excellence and process improvement.
