Prem Chand Bairwa is a senior Indian political leader and currently serves as the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, holding key portfolios including Transport and Road Safety, along with responsibilities in higher and technical education and allied sectors. Since assuming office in December 2023, he has emerged as an important figure in the state’s governance, contributing to policy direction, infrastructure development, and administrative reforms.

His political career began at the grassroots level through student and local governance institutions, including his tenure as a Zila Parishad member, before rising within the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was first elected as a Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from the Dudu constituency in 2013 and returned to the Assembly in 2023 with a decisive mandate, reflecting strong public support and credibility.
