Debasis Satapathy is currently serving for NBCC (National Building Construction Corporation) New Delhi, Government of India, as Chief General Manager – HR. A post Graduate in HR & PhD in HR (Cont) from XLRI having 22 years of experience from some of the leading corporates – Airtel, Idea Cellular, Spice and Ballarpur Industries. Previous to NBCC he was the Global HR Head for an Indian Multinational having operations in USA, UK, Africa & middle east. Debasis is currently pursuing his PhD from XLRI. Debasis has authored over 200+ management lessons from Mahabharat & is a visiting faculty to some of the premier business schools including IITs, IIMs, Administrative Staff College of India, Indian Institute of Public Administration, etc. University Grants Commission (UGC) uses his lessons from Mahabharat for the teaching of students. Debasis has designed the curriculum of three premiers “B” schools on the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). He is a regular speaker on management lessons from Mahabharat and has addressed over 5000+ executives of several corporates and premier B schools. Currently, five institutions are running his monthly series covering several contemporary management topics linked to Mahabharat. He has been awarded by several organizations for his endeavor in “Popularizing Mahabharat in the management education in India”. His mission in life is to popularize Mahabharat in management education in India.
