Shri Ramdas Athawale is a prominent Indian political leader, social activist, and trade unionist currently serving as the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. He represents the state of Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha and has been a consistent voice for social equity, inclusion, and the rights of marginalized communities, particularly Scheduled Castes.

With a political career spanning over three decades, Shri Athawale has played a significant role in shaping India’s social justice discourse. He is the President of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), a party rooted in the ideology of Dr. B.R.
