Satyabrata Satapathy is a visionary entrepreneur, aerospace technologist, and leader in India’s emerging advanced air mobility and drone innovation ecosystem, serving as Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, and Director of BonV Technology Private Limited —popularly known as BonV Aero, a deep-tech startup founded in 2021 that develops high-payload, autonomous aerial systems and logistics drones designed for commercial, defense, and humanitarian applications. BonV Aero’s mission is to make aerial logistics more affordable, sustainable, and capable of serving complex environments such as remote mountainous regions, disaster zones, and critical supply chains.

Under Satyabrata’s leadership, BonV Aero has grown rapidly as a pioneer in electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) platforms and autonomous cargo UAVs, securing strategic partnerships, attracting venture support, and demonstrating India-built technology that bridges aerial logistics with future mobility solutions. Before founding BonV Technology, Satyabrata built significant technical and leadership experience in the aerospace domain. He co-founded Voyzon Aerospace and held key engineering and avionics leadership roles at Asteria Aerospace, where he was instrumental in developing avionics systems for unmanned vehicles. His earlier career also includes hands-on roles in autonomous systems engineering and embedded systems, laying the foundation for his deep technical expertise.

Satyabrata holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and a bachelor’s degree in instrumentation & control engineering from SRM University, blending rigorous academic grounding with practical innovation experience that drives BonV Aero’s engineering excellence and market impact.
