Satybrata Satpathy is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BonV Technology Pvt. Ltd., a deep-tech venture focused on developing advanced aerial mobility and logistics solutions for challenging environments. Driven by a strong mission to make aerial logistics more accessible, scalable, and cost-efficient, he is leading innovation in the emerging domain of drone-based transportation and high-altitude logistics systems.

Since founding the company in 2021, Satpathy has been instrumental in shaping BonV Technology into a next-generation aerospace platform that designs and manufactures heavy-lift unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) systems. His work focuses on addressing critical logistics challenges in remote, high-altitude, and infrastructure-deficient regions—particularly for applications in defense, disaster response, and essential supply delivery.

An engineer by training, he holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a bachelor’s degree in instrumentation and control engineering from SRM University. His academic journey reflects an early passion for autonomous systems and avionics, further reinforced by achievements such as a gold medal for UAV research and recognition from the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) for innovation in robotics.

Prior to founding BonV Technology, Satpathy gained extensive experience in aerospace and autonomous systems through roles at organizations such as Asteria Aerospace and Voyzon Aerospace, where he worked on avionics, embedded systems, and drone technologies. This technical depth, combined with entrepreneurial vision, has enabled him to build indigenous, high-performance aerial platforms tailored to India’s unique logistical challenges.

Under his leadership, the company is rapidly expanding its capabilities in AI-driven autonomy, intelligent flight systems, and sustainable aerial transport solutions, positioning itself as a key player in India’s growing deep-tech and aerospace ecosystem.
