V. Yugka Murthy is a seasoned business strategist and international commerce leader, currently serving as Vice President—Government & External Affairs at the Indo Latin American Chamber of Commerce (ILACC), a government-recognized institution dedicated to strengthening trade, investment, and economic cooperation between India and Latin American, Caribbean, and global markets. In this role, he leads strategic engagement with government stakeholders, policy advocacy, and cross-border partnership initiatives that promote bilateral commercial ties, economic diplomacy, and sustainable business linkages between India and the Latin American region. ILACC works closely with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, to facilitate trade missions, promote export-oriented policies, and enhance awareness of national regulatory frameworks that support international business expansion.

Mr. Murthy comes from a background of multifaceted leadership across community service, organizational governance, and industry advocacy. He belongs to one of Coimbatore’s prominent business families and has engaged deeply with social development causes—working with underprivileged communities, SME networks, and sectoral groups—while also representing ILACC in economic forums that advance bilateral trade and cultural exchange.
