Vipul Nanda is the chairman and managing director of Pallia Trans Logistics Private Limited, a prominent player in India’s automobile logistics and finished vehicle transportation sector. With more than three decades of experience in transportation and supply chain management, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth from a traditional transport operator into a modern, nationwide logistics enterprise specializing in automotive logistics and vehicle distribution.

Carrying forward a family legacy in transportation, Vipul Nanda assumed leadership of the Pallia transport business after the passing of his father, Govardhan Lal Nanda, and has since led the group through significant transformation and expansion. Under his stewardship, the company strengthened its position in the finished vehicle logistics (FVL) segment, offering end-to-end outbound logistics solutions that include vehicle transportation, yard management, stockyard operations, and pre-delivery inspection services for leading automobile manufacturers across India.

A visionary industry leader, Nanda has been instrumental in forging strategic global partnerships that have elevated the company’s capabilities and global reach. In 2008, the group entered into a landmark international joint venture with Italy’s Gruppo Mercurio to form Mercurio Pallia Logistics, one of India’s early cross-border collaborations in the trucking and automotive logistics sector. The venture significantly strengthened Pallia’s technology, operational standards, and international exposure, helping it evolve into a modern logistics organization before it was later restructured as Pallia Trans Logistics.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Vipul Nanda has also played an active role in industry advocacy and leadership. He served as president of the Car Carrier Association of India, where he contributed to standardizing truck-trailer dimensions under national regulations, helping improve efficiency and safety in the automotive logistics sector. He is also the founder of eee-Taxi, an electric mobility initiative designed to promote sustainable corporate transportation and reduce urban pollution.
